Locals reported large ice chunks measuring up to 7 centimeters in certain regions. The Bureau of Meteorology verified that multiple regions across the state had been impacted by substantial ice precipitation.

Moist weather were forecast to persist along much of the state's eastern regions this next several days as a low-pressure trough continued to draw in moisture against the shoreline.
